Требования к параметрам хостинг провайдера

Here are some things to consider as you choose a reliable hosting provider:
  • Uptime: Uptime is the amount of time servers belonging to your hosting provider are up and running. Any hosting provider can go down sometimes but you want to find a provider with very little downtime so visitors can almost always see your website.

  • Bandwidth: Bandwidth shows how much data your site can send to the rest of the internet and determines how much traffic your site can support. Some hosting providers limit the bandwidth available to your website while others allow unlimited access.

  • Security: Familiarize yourself with safeguards the hosting provider sets in place to protect your site from external vulnerabilities. Understand if support will be offered when a security issue arises, such as if your site is hacked or infected by malware.

Disadvantages Explained – Things Web Hosting Hub Could Improve

As with any web host, there are some things that could be improved. We’ve discussed many of the pros for Web Hosting Hub, but here’s a further explanation of the cons:
No VPS or dedicated hosting plans – As mentioned above, Web hosting Hub is not suited for large websites and only offers shared hosting plans. This is fine as long as you only need a shared hosting plan. Some sites may outgrow a shared hosting platform and will unfortunately need to migrate away to a different web host. Site migration is always a headache, so its best to avoid it if you’re expecting your site might one day need a VPS plan. However if you’re certain your site will only need a shared hosting account, Web Hosting Hub can be ideal.
Limited sites addons – Not much of big deal but still a con, is Web Hosting Hub’s limit of site addons for the Spark plan (their most basic hosting plan). For the Spark plan, you’re only allowed to host 2 websites on the account. If you’re planning on hosting more, you’ll need to upgrade to a higher tier plan.
Google Apps for Work – There is no easy integration of Google Apps for Work with Web Hosting Hub. Some web hosts offer an integrated, graphical wizard to help you connect your domain with Google. Naturally you can still use Google Apps for Work, but will need to manually configure it. This as an inconvenience and makes things tougher for beginners to figure out. Since Web Hosting Hub is geared toward making things quick and easy, we’re hoping that they may soon offer this.
Premium Website Builder – Web Hosting Hub advertises this as a big benefit for beginners who want to use a visual platform for building a site. Unfortunately, the premium website builder that Web Hosting Hub uses feels confusing, old, and outdated. In our opinion, there are better website builders out there and we wouldn’t recommend using this one. There are also a variety of popular website builders that users can use and install from cPanel, although again, these are still not our favorite ones.
